By their 4th date, they joked about eloping. After two years together, they made it happen. They eloped on the beach, and frolicked around the city.
Tell us about your personal proposal.
Toni– After many failed proposal plans (thanks to Covid), I asked Alex to marry me in the comfort of our own home after a night out for dinner at our favorite restaurant that also happens to be where we had our first date, so it seemed fitting.
Neither of us liked the idea of big or public proposals, so that was never going to be our thing.

Talk us through the decision to elope.
We both wanted to get married in an authentic way to us both. The stress and worry of planning a big wedding with the politics involved just didn’t appeal to either of us.
So our day was stress-free and entirely about us, which was exactly how we wanted it.
Talk us through the actual elopement.
Our ceremony took place on the coast as we both felt our happiest by the water! And the colors of the stunning coastline made for some pretty epic photos. We then got our rings tattooed rather than exchanging physical rings and had that documented, followed by some portrait shots around the city and dinner with our photographers (and new lifelong friends) at our favorite restaurant.
