The Inspiration:
A Masquerade Wedding in a true Art Deco ballroom! The Civic Center’s original 1930’s architecture lends itself to luxury. Purple hues are becoming more popular in the Halloween season, and we wanted to play with the deep richness of the color. With nods to traditional masquerade and modern interpretation, it is the perfect balance of spooky and elegance.
The Styling
Two custom gowns were created for this shoot – one for the bride, the other for her maid of honor.
The black bridal gown created by Avari Bridal is the perfect combination of soft and bold, and fit her like a glove! Trochtas took ingenuity to a new level by creating a skirt made with real florals! It’s hard to choose which gown to stare at!
The invitation suite with a custom Victorian dress envelope liner, masked seating chart, spooky libations menu were all created by Chirps and Cheers. Making new look old, the lightly frayed paper and hand rolled place cards with gold touches incorporates both time periods.
The black and white table settings and black goblets from The Set Events makes a Pinterest worthy headtable.
