Meet, Ayzia Jade Photography, a Fremantle Australia photographer whose wedding photography leans toward deep, moody, and romantic.

Who is Ayzia Jade Photography, and how would you describe your photography?

I am a bit of a thrill-seeker and live for adventures to meet and engage with people from all walks of life. My photography is quite rich in color and tends to stray to the moody, deep and romantic side. In addition, I like to take a fairly documentary style to my weddings.

Why wedding photography?

Wedding photography challenges me, and there is always something to learn; I love that and I am like this personally and professionally. Wedding photography enables me to exercise my love for communication, and I love finding out about a person’s story or background. A bit of a journalistic side to me. But I like to explore and talk to people to document them better.

And weddings are fun and exciting, always a lot happening. We photograph all the events but also a range of photography styles – still life, documentary-style, portraiture, editorial, and then you have room to explore ideas still.

How far in advance should lovers be booking their wedding photographers?

I think everyone is different, and the times have changed, but I would say about one year as a guide! For elopements sometimes, if they are a midweek affair, I can book something with only a few week’s notice.

Tell us about your dream client.

My clients like style over fashion and think about the overall vibe of their wedding – they consider the entertainment. They are diverse, fun, and open-minded people who are open to ideas. And most of all, they trust me.

What are some of your favorite local wedding venues?

I love Credaro Winery because of the location. It’s situated near some beautiful coastal landscapes! Hayshed Hill is another favorite; not only are the staff excellent, but the vibe of the weddings is something else!

Others include Aravina Estate, Guildhall (Fremantle).

How do you make sure you capture the entire day, or do you have a second person there capturing the day with you?

Although I do have a second shooter who assists me on the day, my way of capturing everything is to be organized before the day. So I have a big hand in helping create my couple’s schedules and setting realistic expectations. On top of that, I ensure my ear is to a good standard, and backup equipment is nearby also.

What can couples expect from you on their wedding day, and then what do you deliver to them after the day?

My biggest compliment is that my couples feel like they have someone who takes charge when need be and is nice and organized to create a nice flow because I really prioritize creating a day that enables my couples to enjoy it.

After the wedding, I deliver a branded gift box with some prints on the day and an online gallery full of nostalgic moments!
