Courtney & Laura – A Modern Sydney Wedding

Two bride lesbian romantic wedding in Sydney News South Wales Australia captured by Across The Forest photography

A game of matchmaker gone wrong brought to life their modern Sydney wedding with incredible florals and the beauty of their two venues, La Portre Space and Olio.

How’d you decide who would propose first?

It was a race to the finish line when two proposals were being planned at the same time.

But it was Courtney who seized the moment first, with the help of Nacho. Leaving her new fiancé Laura in the fetal position in the middle of the lounge room floor. It was perfect, and when she finally stopped swearing, there was no doubt what her answer would be.

What are your favorite moments from your wedding day?

Our favorite moment was definitely at the reception. The whole room started singing along to our musicians when they finished their set with “If I ain’t got you.” It was so special and just made the night!

Advice for other couples planning a wedding?

Remember that planning a wedding is supposed to be fun! So take the time to enjoy the process! Also, this is your wedding as a couple, and there is absolutely no way you can make everyone happy.
