I’m Devin, a wedding and portrait photographer in Greenville, South Carolina. I absolutely love celebrating with my couples on one of the best days of their lives! I love investing in and getting to really know my couples – I think that’s the best way to tell your story! The friendships I’ve made along the way are the absolute best part of being a photographer.

I love genuine moments and making people laugh. I want to create images that you’ll still love in 20, 50, or 100 years! I keep the photography experience easygoing and lighthearted, so you never leave feeling, “gosh, that was awkward!”

What’s something you’ve done that you’re really proud of?

Leaving my safe, stable finance job that was making me miserable.  Being a full-time photographer has been, at times, difficult, joyful, terrifying, but mostly the most rewarding adventure.  

Have you got any pets? Tell us about them.

My two senior rescue dogs are my favorite people.  Baloo, 12, is an Australian shepherd mix and my soul mate.  He’s incredibly stubborn, sweet, and probably too smart.   Bear, 13, is genetically a golden retriever/ lab mix but definitely doesn’t act like one.  There’s not a thought in his head and we love him for it. 

Can you share a creative solution you’ve had to come up with for a wedding challenge?

I have a pretty intense emergency kit in my car that has come in handy so many times.  Particularly wardrobe malfunctions!  I have a sewing kit and fashion tape that have come in handy many times, which probably isn’t a typical photographer’s responsibility.
