Authentic imagery chock full of color and personality.

If you’re looking for a photographer who will create fabulous images and have fun while doing it, you’ve come to the right place. Specializing in authentic imagery chock full of color and personality, I’ve photographed over 200 weddings on three continents, taken hundreds of portraits for everyone from corporate executives to weirdo musicians to your high school friend Kelly, helped folks see that boudoir is for all bodies and everyone deserves sexy photos of themselves if they want ‘em, documented a wide range of events from local swing dance nights to the National LGBTQ Task Force’s premier annual event Creating Change, and marked the milestones from sack of potatoes to mini adult with 12 years of family photography.

Whether it’s 20 people in the backyard or 200 people in the Four Seasons, my goal on a wedding day is to deliver images that make you feel feelings. I want you to view your gallery and hear your best friend’s laugh, feel that bone-crushing hug your uncle gave you, and if your heart skips a beat when you see chairs go up for the hora or you get teary seeing your mom giving her toast, well, sorry/not sorry.

What’s your favorite season for weddings and why?

Autumn is my favorite wedding season. The weather is cooling down, there are usually beautiful leaves, and it’s a great time to have fun with dark, moody, and Halloween elements for the day!

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?

London is my favorite city in the world and I will go there any time I can. Glasgow comes in as a close second, which is handy since it’s an easy train ride from London!

What’s your best advice for creating a seamless day-of timeline?

Wedding days are hectic and remembering that while building a timeline can save you a lot of stress in the moment. Give yourself more time than you think you’ll need, think about how much you’re adding to your day, and accept that the timeline is most likely going to go sideways at some point no matter what you do. Even more important than a seamless day-of timeline is having someone responsible for helping you wrangle the timeline and keep everything and everyone on the timeline.
