What’s your favorite season for weddings and why?
My favorite season for weddings has to be without a doubt Winter. There’s something so warm and cuddly about the season that just adds a special kind of magic to the day. The crisp air, cozy blankets, and the way the light hits during those shorter days create a truly intimate and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect time to embrace rich colors, candlelight, and those little details that make everyone feel wrapped up in love. Why not add a little adventure without all the sweat! Plus, there’s nothing quite like snuggling up with your partner as the world outside cools down—it’s pure romance!
What’s your favorite wedding moment to capture?
My absolute favorite wedding moment to capture is the creative session right after the ceremony. It’s that magical window where the couple gets to sneak away, just the two of them, and finally breathe. It’s the only real moment they have alone, and you can see all the tension melt away as they realize, “We did it!” It’s a chance to relax, laugh, and just be themselves, and that’s when the most authentic, heart-melting moments happen. Plus, it’s when I get to work my creative magic, capturing those pure, unscripted feels that make every wedding uniquely beautiful. Right on Sunset I move away from the couple -‘ lovers welcome to your wedding sunset, this is yours, so take time now alone to cherish and take it all in, enjoy’. This is our time to step right back to give our couples their personal space.
What’s the most important thing to remember when planning a wedding?
The most important thing to remember when planning a wedding? Make it yours! Seriously, don’t worry about ticking off every traditional box or pleasing everyone on the guest list. Your wedding should be a wild, wonderful reflection of who you are as a couple, no matter how crazy or unconventional it might seem. Want to walk down the aisle to your favorite rock anthem? Do it. Craving a taco truck instead of a fancy sit-down dinner? Go for it! This is your day, and it should feel like you in every way. The best weddings are the ones where you can look around and think, “Yep, this is us.” So, design a day that makes your heart sing—because that’s what you’ll remember forever.
