Your engagement or wedding might be the first time you’re shopping for fine jewelry – let us bring our skills to bear to take some of the stress off your plate! The Gem Breakfast team melds rigorous GIA-certified skill with a customer-first approach, so whether we’re helping you decide on a ready-made one-of-a-kind piece or creating a custom ring, we’ll never push a sale or proceed without your full comfort in every decision. We can help develop the mood, hunt for gems, engrave secret love notes, and provide CAD mockups of every custom piece.
How do you personalize a wedding experience for each couple?
We tailor our support to each client based on their needs: some clients need a lot of guidance/education, some know exactly what they want! Sometimes both partners want to be involved in the design process and sometimes they want a surprise!
There’s no “right” engagement style or wedding ring, there’s only what fits you and your partner’s style, budget, and personality. We know this process can be overwhelming – so we make sure that our communication is consistent and nothing in the process ever happens without client approval and consent.
How do you capture the unique personalities of the people you work with?
Our approach to jewelry is gem-first, and our approach to clients is you-first. Like we build the ring around the perfect stone, we build custom rings around the personalities & stories of our clients. Share anything and everything you want with us, from moodboards to favorite paintings to plans for the proposal. Our expertise is in refining that wealth of detail into a ring with just the right amount of sparkle and personalization!
Especially for queer couples, we’re excited to create rings that coordinate without matching through hand-cut engraving, similar stones, repeated motifs, or other bespoke details.
