We love capturing authentic & personal weddings and elopements. Your elopement day should be like a double birthday for both of you, doing exactly what you love and what makes your heart beat faster. It’s the real moments and emotions, the big and small, the touching and sincere goosebump moments that count. It’s the moments when you fall into each other’s arms, when your eyes light up with joy and you simply laugh from the bottom of your heart or cry with happiness. What’s one skill or hobby you’ve always wanted to learn? Why?
Katja: Oh I would love to start dancing again! I danced as a teenager, and it’s something that still fascinates me to this day. The way people can express themselves through movement—whether it’s something sensual or bursting with energy and confidence—is just so inspiring.
Walter: Singing or playing the guitar is high on my list. Music has always been such a huge part of my life—both personally and in the wedding films I create. There’s something so moving about hearing someone sing or play an instrument live; it always makes me wish I could do the same. Music has this incredible way of speaking when words fail—it’s there for you through the highs and the lows, and I’d love to be able to express myself through it.
What do you enjoy most about working with couples during their wedding journey?
What we love most is the personal connection and friendships we get to build with each couple. Getting to know their love story, their uniqueness and the way they see the world—it’s like we’re constantly learning and growing through them. Being part of creating their celebration of love is such an honor.
We love weaving all those unique details and stories into the day, making it feel like their version of perfect. And by perfect, we don’t mean the flawless, picture-perfect moments you see online. It’s about the kind of perfect that feels right for them—full of love, meaning, and authenticity. That’s what makes it so magical.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
We built a van ourselves (with a little help from YouTube, of course!) and spent eight incredible months traveling through Europe in it. It was hands-down the best adventure of our lives. We spent so much time outdoors, exploring new places, getting creative with our cameras, and soaking up beach days and quality time with our dog.
Living in just six square meters of van space brought us closer—not just physically (though that, too!) but on a much deeper level. We learned so much about each other, about teamwork, and about truly enjoying the simple things. Oh, and we got engaged on that trip, too!
