I’m Mandee (she/her), a wedding photographer based in Los Angeles, CA. I live near the ocean with my partner Joel and our many plants. I published a book in the first year of covid, can host a killer dinner party, and love collaborating with smart, nice, creative people. I shoot weddings because I love the all-access pass to tell an unforgettable story.
My diverse portfolio and extensive knowledge in design, art direction, and production brings a broad artistic perspective to my practice. My unique style mixes fine art, documentary, and editorial with pop color and personality – creating energetic and intimate images. My work celebrates strong storytelling with a singular point of view, allowing me to capture the raw energy of your day with all its spontaneity, joy, and laughter served up with a strong side of bold, beautiful portraits.
I believe weddings are a team sport with all hands on deck for my couples. If you enjoy comedy, traveling, eating, and drinking your way through cities, we’ll probably be BFFs. While I call Los Angeles home – I travel far and wide. It’s honestly one of the best parts of my job. Also, I am fully vaccinated, boosted and ready to party.

WHAT’S A PIECE OF ADVICE YOU FIND YOURSELF GIVING TO ALL OF YOUR COUPLES?
-Get a Wedding Planner.
-Don’t bother to do anything that isn’t authentic to you as a couple at your wedding. It’s a waste of time and money; your wedding is about you.
-Have the most fun humanly possible and be fully present in every moment. It will all go by in the blink of an eye, so soak it all in. The more fun you have, the better the photos and memories will be—I promise.

what is your favorite part of a wedding day?
The wedding recessional. The joy in this brief moment is so immense and perfect every time.
