We launched this business because both ourselves (we are an WLW couple!) and our friends struggled to find LGBTQ inclusive vendors for their weddings and parties. We were tired of seeing “his and hers” cocktails as the only options, tired of vendors automatically using his and hers pronouns, and tired of seeing event bartenders treat queer guests a little differently. We wanted to fill that gap, celebrate everyone, and create a space where bartending is about more than just mixing drinks—it’s about creating an atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable, safe, and celebrated.

What’s one wedding trend you wish would come back?

The traditional champagne group toast to the couple before the speeches! As bartenders, we have noticed that specialty cocktails are now the main focus of most events. While this is special, it’s so nice to take a moment for a classic champagne toast in between the ceremony and reception to show appreciation for the newly wedded couple.

What’s one wedding tradition that you think is overrated?

The garter belt! This tradition stems from the medieval ages, when women were severely oppressed. Hard pass!

What’s the most meaningful way you’ve seen a couple honor a loved one at their wedding?

We love the idea of honoring any passed loved ones who couldn’t make it to the ceremony by leaving the front row of seats empty and labeled in their honor.
