Truss and Ore

Responsibly Handcrafted Jewelry and Curated Vintage Pieces

Hi! I’m Ana Brazaityte, the owner, designer, and maker of Truss and Ore Jewelry, based in Berkeley, CA. As a one-woman operation, my business fully reflects my personal values – social justice is intrinsic to the brand, as is working toward a jewelry industry that is beneficial to all people along the supply chain and prioritizes stewardship of the environment.

Truss and Ore designs are inspired by modern art and architecture and often feature color gemstones. I believe in radical transparency about my materials sourcing and production practices and am always open to questions and conversations about my materials choices.

We can work together to source the perfect gemstone to customize a Truss and Ore design or create a fully custom design just for you.

Have you got any pets? Tell us about them.

I have an Amstaff/German Shepherd mix named Taco. He’s a big baby. I also have a cat named Hank. She’s the boss in the house and Taco knows it 🙂

what’s a common misconception about your role in the wedding industry?

That an engagement ring has to be completely a surprise. I’ve had couples design their rings together and it was a lovely and exciting experience. The moment of the proposal can still be a surprise!

how do you approach sustainability in weddings?

Sustainability is the main focus of my work – I prioritize sourcing responsibly, artisanally mined gold (Fairmined gold) which includes assurance standards of environmental protections and contributes to social and economic development in mining communities. I consider all aspects of sustainability in my work – environmental, social, and economic.
