Making Memories Last a Lifetime.

The creative force behind White Chilli Photography is Laima (she/her), who went from working within the corporate sector to photographing weddings in 2009 and she hasn’t looked back. There hasn’t been a day or a moment behind the lens that she hasn’t revelled in since.

Hi I’m Laima, the creative force behind White Chilli Photography. I value getting to know couples on a personal level, ensuring that I understand and meet the individual requirements of each couple I work with. My style is to build a story of images, capturing the very essence of your special day, making memories to last a lifetime.


For me it’s the little moments … and of course the big ones. “It’s capturing the light of the day, the faces, gestures, those candid smiles … a tear. It might be the detail of a flower, a nervous glance, a footprint or the beading on a dress”.
I love nothing more than to have fun on the day and go extra mile to ensure I capture couples in their best light, making it a day they’ll remember for all the right reasons.

HOW DO YOU ENSURE THAT A WEDDING RUNS SMOOTHLY?

I have 15 years experience in photographing weddings all over Australia and worldwide. I think in that time I have experienced most of the hiccups that can be experienced by couples on their day. I can keep a cool head and have the experience to ensure that your wedding runs smoothly on the day.

HOW DO YOU APPROACH A WEDDING DAY?

My shooting style is casual and relaxed, I aim to be unobtrusive, so I do not interrupt the flow of events on your day. I shoot it as it happens and like to keep things natural with some direction where needed, so that I can capture you in your best moments. Most of all I like for everyone to be relaxed and have fun on the day.

Absolutely 🙂 I do this for all of my couples. After we have chatted about your day, I will design an individually tailored time line for you that will be suitable to capture all that you require on the day. I will send a copy through to all of your other suppliers for you too.
