Elise & Tanya – A Bold but Feminine Romance for the Ages

Lesbian romantic wedding in Ry New York captured by Moments with Ada Photography (35)

Elise and Tanya met seven years ago in New York City on West 11th street at the Crusty Crab. Tanya was merely a shy girl with a thick South African accent, and Elise was a bold actor and talented singer. Quickly Elise became the soulmate Tanya had always longed for, her Ellie-bear.

They’ve supported one another throughout the years and been each other’s champion. When you see these two beautiful souls interact with one another, you can instantly tell that it’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love; a romance that will expand the ages as they continue to grow in love. They married on December 31st in Tanya’s native South African home at the Rickety Bridge Winery.

While entirely authentic, real, soulful, supportive, and absolutely beautiful beyond measure. Their love was one of the biggest reasons I asked them to participate in this LGBTQ+ styled shoot at the Wainwright House in Rye, NY. Here they could be supported by all vendors, showered with love, and emerge gracefully as one. To not only be the photographer who captured these moments but also to be their friend is one of the greatest accomplishments I could hope to imagine. May they both continue to inspire others to follow their hearts, love without abandon, and find someone who truly sets your soul on fire.
