Who is SuitShop? And why were you inspired to do what you do?
A suiting mishap initially inspired the idea for SuitShop (formerly The Groomsman Suit) at our co-founder, Jeanne Foley’s, wedding. At the time, over-priced rentals were the only options, but the process was (and still is) difficult. Jeanne knew there could be a better way to suit a wedding party, and it just didn’t exist yet. So, using her fashion design background, she worked with her best friend and co-founder, Diana Ganz, to launch SuitShop. A one-stop shop for all things suiting for any special occasion, but especially when wedding planning.
Shortly after launching online, they realized a calling to expand beyond just men’s suiting. After years of development, SuitShop launched coordinating women’s suits and tuxedos which helped bring us to where we are today. As we continue to grow, we remain inspired by our customer feedback to ensure we provide the best online suiting option available at a price that just can’t be beaten.

Are suits for everybody?
Wearing a suit makes us feel empowered, strong, and confident- all while looking sharp. Anybody and everybody that wants to wear a suit or tuxedo should be able to! That’s why all of our pieces are sold as separates, allowing every person to find their perfect fit.
What does the process of purchasing a SuitShop suit look like?
At SuitShop, we sell our pieces as separates, in multiple lengths, two different fit types (slim and modern), and fifteen other measurements to get the perfect fit. Additionally, our suit pants come un-hemmed so they can be tailored to the individual. This allows all our couples and clients to get the custom-fitted look without the custom-fitted price!
While our women’s tuxedos are a different material than our men’s line, the suits are an exact match. Meaning our customers can mix, for example, a women’s jacket with men’s pants. This has been one of our most popular combinations.
Do you ship around the world?

Do you have any suggestions for people who struggle with their bodies to relieve their worries around fittings?
Sizing can be one of the most confusing things when shopping for a suit, so we have worked really hard to make it as easy as possible and provide our customers with style education via our blog. So no matter your preferences, we can find something that will fit you and make you feel like your most confident self!
For sizing, we offer online size charts, an easy-to-use fit finder, and of course, phone, email, and chat options to talk with one of our experienced suiting stylists to make a recommendation. We also offer Virtual Fittings, so you can chat with a stylist and discuss sizing concerns, how to take measurements, fit options, as well as figure out color and accessories pairings. No matter who we are fitting, everyone wants to look and feel their best, and it’s our job to help get you there.
What’s next for SuitShop?
Without giving too much away, we are excited about some upcoming launches in the works. In the future, you can expect to see new colors, a new fabric blend, and a new range of pant styles to continue our mission towards suiting for all!
