This wild, but simple inspired elopement on the North Coast of Northern Ireland celebrates to love between Hannah and Niamh.

You are a Tinder love story, right?

Yes! It was very much so by chance, as Niamh had set her age boundary to 19+ and we matched the day after Hannah turned 19! We started talking on 5th August and met for the first time in Belfast, where Niamh is from, on the 16th August.

We relive our first date every single year on the same date and we also wear the same top and take the same picture in the same spot. Hopefully, the tops continue to fit us throughout the years!

What are some of your favorite memories together?

Our happiest memories are always made when we are traveling together. Our first holiday was memorable when we spent a week in Salou going to Portaventura, and Hannah introduced Niamh to rollercoasters. We also did a month Interrailing around Europe, which was amazing as it was the first time we had spent that long together without any distance in-between. We also recently did a 10-day road trip around Ireland which we absolutely loved, and it brought us closer together. Hannah almost proposed on the road trip but waited until closer to Halloween as that is Niamhs’ favorite time of year.

You also dated long-distance for a while, tell us about that.

One of the hardest parts of our relationship was Hannah going to university one month into our relationship. The long-distance was extremely hard, but we tried to see each other every three weeks. Taking it in turns, and Hannah would come home. Then Niamh would travel to Newcastle in England, where Hannah went to university. We think it kept it exciting at the start, and it was what we were used to at the time. But we now live in each other’s pocket and have no idea how we ever managed! We can’t even go three days apart now, never mind three weeks!!

Tell us your favorite thing about one another.

Niamh’s favorite thing about Hannah is her passion and desire. She always gives 110% effort and is very attentive and affectionate.

Hannah’s favorite thing about Niamh is how kind and caring she is with everyone. Niamh never judges and would help anyone in need – she is the definition of selfless. She has a kind nature and always looks after Hannah.

Now you’re engaged, what does the future hold?

We just got engaged in October. Hannah proposed to Niamh. It was supposed to be in New York, but it wasn’t possible to travel with the pandemic, so Hannah brought New York to Niamh. She decorated the whole house in NY themes.

We always said we would wait until each of us proposed to one another, so Hannah is hoping for a ring too in the not too distant future with high expectations after her NY theme. Also, we want to travel to Australia for a while. We would like to live there and travel around Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Then come home after a year or so and plan our wedding. We also both really love kids, and our families, so we would hope to start our own someday. Oh, and dogs, lots and lots of dogs!
