Meaghan & Selena – A Luxury Picnic Proposal

Luxury suprise lesbian proposal on the beach in Queens New York City photographed by Dawnpoint Studios

We’ve been together for just over eight months, but we met almost two years ago over TikTok. We connected over Snapchat, and the rest is history!

I knew the proposal was happening soon, but Selena planned the entire proposal in three days. She found a luxury picnic company off of Instagram and had planned a butterfly entrance with music playing in the background. I was blindfolded walking into it and had no idea where we were going.

Tell us about the engagement ring experience.

We honestly must have gone to about a dozen different engagement ring stores searching for the perfect ring. But I was very particular about the shape of the stone and wanted a plain band, and every place had too many options. The ring is from Kay. It wasn’t the ring we ended up agreeing on, but Selena surprised me by getting a new style that just came into the store. It turned out to be my dream ring and was the best surprise. I’m absolutely obsessed with it.

What does your engagement mean to you both? Has anything changed?

We both keep calling each other our “girlfriend” still since it’s so new! Of course, nothing between us has changed, but it just seems like everything we’ve talked about and hoped for is actually coming true. It’s so surreal and emotional.
