A note from the event stylist

What started as an elopement photoshoot, ended in a custom made photoshoot for a beautiful couple who was recently engaged. Maria, with a name evokes the ocean an effortless style, and Sara, a passionate and positive soul which is capable to see beauty in a cloudy day when most of the mortals see sadness.

With the Mediterranean sea and the city of Cadaques as a backdrop, the team wanted to show the small town through the Salvador Dali’s eyes, and what inspired him to paint and create his amazing work.

Marina & Sara are engaged and planning to have a legal ceremony and even though this edit isn’t a real wedding, it felt like a wedding to them. The entire location screams their names and personalities, they took the edit as an opportunity to open their hearts and they read vows to one another.

Maite Ruperez took care of hair and makeup, embracing the natural beauty of the brides and the magical landscape of Cadaques. While Maite Ruperez was working her magic, the brides wore beautiful robes from Kimonos de Novia, the perfect complement for the moment.

The dresses were Paola Carolina, were the canva that blended Marina and Sara’s beauty. Her ethereal designs and the atmosphere of this styled edit was captured perfectly by Laia Cantenys.

The organization, styling and decoration was pulled together by me, deluging my sophisticated style into the edit.
