It was important for Pam to have her Indian culture a part of her wedding day. The second designer she visited, Shenena Sethi, had a clear vision and brought that to life. For Sarah, a traditional white dress was something she had always dreamt of walking down the aisle in and fell in love with a Provonias gown.

The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the same venue.

Guests arrived at 1.30pm, and the ceremony began at 2.30pm the brides running typically a little late. With the instrumental version of 1000 Years playing, flower girls and bridesmaids walked in first, followed by Pam, who had her Brother and Dad walk her down the aisle. Sarah followed with her Dad.

Pam was super nervous from the moment she put her dress on that morning. But, as soon as she saw Sarah at the alter, she felt calm and couldn’t stop smiling.

After the ceremony, they took our group portrait photos in the gardens while guests enjoyed drinks, canapes, and a steel pannist, which represented Sarah’s Jamaican heritage, as entertainment.

They returned 30 mins later and had a sneak peek at their reception room before everyone entered. Pam & Sarah literally walked in and said, ‘wow,’ they were blown away! They had a chance to sneak off to freshen up, and Pam changed her hair and the top of her outfit. The reception area opened, and all the guests were seated, and the bar was in full swing.

They entered the reception to a song of our choice ‘Khalid – Better’, cut the cake which was situated in the middle of the dance floor, took a few photos and then took our seat at our table.
The first entertainment for the evening was a Turkish belly dancer, who represented Sarah’s Turkish heritage.

And, after seven speeches, and some incredible Indian food, there was a flashmob who performed to Indian music and drums to really get the party started.

For Pam and Sarah, their new commitment means companionship, fulfillment, and love. It is having someone in your corner who will continue to stand with you through every challenge; and when it gets tough, they’ll carry you until you can stand once more.
