Why did you decide to elope?
Tatum does not like all eyes on her, so we knew from the get-go that we would have something small or we would elope.
We didn’t have much support at the time from our families and ultimately decided to elope.
We wanted something extremely intimate where the sole focus was on each other and celebrating all that we’ve been through to get to this moment.
Greece was high up on our travel bucket list, so we thought – why the hell not?! Let’s get married in Greece!!!
Was the elopement day everything you imagined?
When we decided to elope, I was hesitant because I really wanted some nonnegotiable things: wedding dresses, a badass photographer, and flowers, but most importantly, I wanted all of our people with us on our big day.
Leading up to our trip, we chose our wedding dresses together and, of course, asked the most KILLER photographer in the whole wide world to come on this adventure with us!
The day before our elopement, Tatum took me to the only floral shop in Milos with the hopes I could find what I wanted. Luckily, they had an incredible selection, and we could hand-pick each flower, making it the bouquet of my dreams.
On the morning of our elopement, Tatum woke me up and told me she had a surprise for me. She handed me a thick envelope and told me she wanted everything to be perfect for me today. She told me we had the dresses, the photographer, and the flowers, but one thing was missing.
Inside was a letter from every single one of my favorite people.
She made sure it felt like I had a piece of each of them with me the day we married. I freaking bawled my eyes out-it was the most thoughtful gift and the perfect start to our day.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love her more.
What does the future hold for you both?
We’re both new business owners, so we are focused on growing our businesses and enjoying this season of married life.
We thrive on traveling together and seeing all of our favorite music artists, so we have a lot of trips and concerts coming up!
