We’re Alexis (she/her) + Katrina (she/her)—two wedding photographers based in Skagit County, just north of Seattle, capturing love stories across the Pacific Northwest. We’re also a real-life married couple, so when we say we get queer love, we mean it. Our approach to LGBTQ+ wedding photography is rooted in care, creativity, and connection. We’re here to document your day honestly and joyfully, without awkward poses or outdated traditions—unless you love those things, in which case, we’ll celebrate them with you!
A+K Photography specializes in weddings, elopements, and engagement sessions that feel personal, playful, and real. Whether you’re getting married on a mountaintop, in your backyard, or at a rad Seattle venue, we’ll be right there capturing the belly laughs, happy tears, and spontaneous dance breaks. Our work leans documentary, but we’ll always help you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. You won’t have to worry about what to do with your hands.

What’s something people would be surprised to find out about you?
We met for the very first time on the side of the road at the Canadian/US border—and got married four months later. Sometimes you just know!
What’s a piece of advice you find yourself giving to all your couples?
Love your vendors—but especially love your photographer(s). You might not realize it, but we’ll be with you all day long, so make sure you actually like us (we think we’re pretty fun and Alexis will be ripping dad jokes all day long)!
How do you keep it together when things are getting emotional on the day?
We don’t… we cry right along with everyone else! Don’t worry though—we’ll still nail the shot, even through happy tears.
