Ceremonies by Sacha
Ceremonies by Sacha is all about creating a calm, elegantly relaxed moment for you both as you step into marriage. It is why I do what I do.
I am Sacha, she/her, a lover of sparkly things, bubbles, coffee, red lippy and helping couples like you get married in a way that feels true to you.
What can you expect from me? Well….
Bespoke Touch: A carefully curated ceremony, that feels like you as a couple.
International Experience: I trained as a celebrant in England and Australia, which gives me a unique perspective on ceremony creation (and yes, I love mini rituals).
Focus: My previous life was in marketing, which in the wedding world translates to a keen eye for detail.
Organisation: From paperwork to tissues, plus a MacGyver kit to address that hem/heel/headache, don’t worry I have you covered.
As a person, I am big on honesty, I value authenticity and love what I do. My approach is marked by attention to the little details, ensuring that your ceremony is casually elegant, deeply meaningful and most definitely relaxed.
From a short and sweet legals only ceremony through to a big wedding complete with bells, you are my priority, together we can make it happen and I can’t wait to hear all about it.

As a cisgender woman who works as a celebrant it is my priority and privilege to make marriage and the process of getting married accessible, available and inclusive to all. I create a safe space for you to realise your wedding dreams with a ceremony that is personal, inclusive – together we will create a ceremony that feels like you as a couple. I am choiceful of my language, I will always ask my couples how they identify and how you would like to be addressed. You are my priority and I am here to help create a moment where you and those closest to you can celebrate your love, and it is an absolute joy to be able to help you realise your marriage dreams.

How do you ensure that your work reflects the lovers’ unique love story?
I work closely with my couples to find out what they want the moment to feel, sound and be like (I also check what you don’t want it to be like and what you don’t want to share – not everyone wants to share everything and I get that so I will always double check). We will chat over video calls, I will ask lots of questions and offer you a questionnaire to take away to consider together some of the deeper questions of love that we often don’t stop to consider. I also listen very closely, it usually gives me some beautiful nuggets of information and inspiration to create a unique ceremony that feels like the two of you. Then once I have written your ceremony we will do a read through together so you know what it will sound like, get a sense for what it will feel like. We usually do this 2 months out so we have time to make changes if need be.
What inspired you to work in the wedding world?
It was a moment in the depths of winter during the first UK lockdown that I realised being a celebrant would enable me to combine my corporate skills (think problem solving skills, a penchant for organisation and process etc) with being creatively in service to others. I wanted to do something that enabled me to support others realise something they had always dreamt of in a way that felt authentic and true to them.
Do you have a favorite quote or mantra to live by?
Start and finish with kindness always, (failing that – don’t be a dick).
