Queer Owned, Woman Owned
Queer Owned, Woman Owned
Ginger Fox Photography
Candid, laid-back, queer destination photographer celebrating LGBTQ+ love, from epic city weddings, to mountaintop elopements.
The biggest gift of my career is making people feel more confident, inspired, and in a better mood after I photograph them. With a candid approach, and a quick smile, photographing wedding days is truly a joy and that shows in my images.
I specialize in LGBTQ+ weddings and have photographed queer couples all over the United States even before it was legal.
My images of real LGBTQ+ couples have been celebrated internationally – with museum exhibitions in Hamburg, Germany and Lausanne, Switzerland. And in 2022 I presented my photo portfolio of LGBTQ+ couples at the international art photography festival, “Cortona on the Move”, in Tuscany Italy.
It’s important to me to not only make beautiful images of LGBTQ+ couples showcasing their love, but to also lift people up emotionally through the way in which I work.

As a queer woman, my career of photographing LGBTQ+ weddings doesn’t just feed me creatively, it also fulfills a deep drive within me to champion our community. In the face of family, societal, and political pressures, declaring our love is sometimes an act of protest and defiance. This is why it’s such an immense honor to document our love, and I’m grateful to every couple that allows me to do that. I’ll never stop being a fierce advocate for queer love and for all of my LGBTQIA+ siblings.

What’s something you’ve done that you’re really proud of?
I live for travel and have had the great fortune of visiting more than 25 countries, 40 foreign cities, 20 different national parks in the US, and I’ve lived on three continents. The world is big and I can’t wait to experience more places, cultures, foods, and people!
What’s a piece of advice you find yourself giving to all your couples?Â
The most important advice for couples, more than anything else, is to be true to who you are. Don’t choose wedding traditions or events (or even to have a wedding itself!) merely because it’s expected or what your parent’s generation did. Make your wedding decisions because they speak to you. Weddings are far more personalized and unique nowadays, and there are no more rules……you’re free to craft whatever you want! Walk down the aisle with your pup, have a small elopement ceremony for family one day and a big rave party for your friends a few months later, have a drag queen as an officiant, wear any gender presentation outfit your heart desires……your imagination is your only limitation now!
