Hey Love Studio
Where Queer Joy Isn’t a Trend, It’s the Assignment.
Where Queer Joy Isn’t a Trend, It’s the Assignment.
We’re Adeline and Valerie, a queer-owned, wife-and-wife photo + video team, and we have been looking forward to your wedding since before you hired us. We show up for the quiet moments and the loud ones.
Based between Dallas and Little Rock but always down for a destination, we capture it all: the first looks, the last dance, the happy tears, and your cousin’s iconic cartwheel. Warm, real, documentary storytelling. On film and in photos. Your images should feel like a Sunday afternoon in good company. Because your story deserves to live, breathe, and move. Literally.
Powered by big Leo energy, we believe every love story should be center stage (with backup dancers). With us, you’re not just booking photographers and videographers. You’re getting a full hype squad, timeline wranglers, emotional support humans, and professional “let’s go again!”-ers.
We champion every identity, every body, every chosen family. We’re not just showing up to document the love, we’re bringing the party, the support, and the dance moves (Adeline’s are legendary, and catch Valerie crying while you exchange your vows). Want your day captured in every color and every feeling? Want your highlight film to make your friends cry and call you an icon? You know where to find us. We’ll bring the gear, the energy, and probably a disco ball (Valerie is obsessed with them). All you have to do is show up and be you.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Valerie: Focus on the joy, not the expectations. That’s where the real magic happens.
Adeline: There’s enough money in this world, and if there isn’t, I just print more. (Backstory: As an immigrant, people tell me to dream small because money will always hold my joy back. I prove them wrong every time. I dream big, live big, and keep it extra.)
Can you share any hidden talents that come in handy at weddings?
Valerie can do magic with a needle and thread, and she’s ordained, so she literally marries people on the spot. Me? I thrive under stress (thank you, anxiety). My gut is a professional vibe detector—if something feels off, I catch it. Both of us are all about emotional support, so if you need a safe space, a pep talk, or someone to hype you up, we’re your people.
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Valerie sings Africa by Toto. Dramatic key changes and singalongs guaranteed. Adeline belts out Zombie by The Cranberries—loud, angsty, and iconic, just how I like my karaoke.
