Queer & Neurodivergent Owned

Rya Photographie

Artful imagery that captures how it feels to be there.

It’s just you, the love of your life, and a handful of your closest friends and family, celebrating your love, your commitment, and the life you want to build together.

All on your terms.

Intimate Wedding & Elopement photography for the dreamers, the hopeless romantics, and the wild at heart. For couples who cherish connection, who love freely, authentically and unapologetically, as who they are.

Am I inclusive? Of course I am. But that is easy to say.

Mission statements sound good, but ring hollow far too often. Instead, I share the words of my clients:

“The moment I clicked on your website I was immediately at ease as it’s clear that serving the queer community is near to your heart. You can see it on the site and in your work.”

“I looked through your portfolio and love your work but honestly what made me reach out was all the inclusive photos of LGBTQ couples.“

“When my husband and I married, we had a bad experience with a “Christian” photographer who suddenly forgot she was already booked…. So I am always a bit partial to doing business with those who support families like mine.”

I have my story and my own struggle to find my truth.

I see you, I love you, and you are safe with me. For I am queer too.

What’s a piece of advice you find yourself giving to all your couples?

Find the photographer that you click with and who shares your vibe, and the rest will take care of itself.

What’s your process for understanding a couple’s vision for their day?

Simply to listen.

How do you help calm down nervous lovers?

By being human. Whether I need to be silly, calm and collected, or simply present, I do what I need to do to take all of the pressure off.
