I’m McKenzie Bigliazzi (pronounced “Big-lee-ozzy”), and I am a Colorado-based photographer who travels extensively to capture the essence of both intimate and grand moments. I am dedicated to transforming fleeting instances into timeless works of art, without making you feel weird in front of the camera. My photography balances candid, posed, and spontaneous moments, creating images that feel both authentic and artistic.

I create space for couples who don’t see themselves reflected in mainstream wedding publications—those who want a wedding day that truly celebrates and affirms who they are, both individually and together. What’s your favorite way to give back to the community?
Proceeds from my business get donated back into the Community to Trevor Project, Planned Parenthood, and The Last Prisoner Project.
What’s the most rewarding thing about being a wedding pro?
I love getting to see my couples who have been wallflowers their entire lives, enjoy a day that is celebrating them without fear of judgement. It’s so rewarding to see them be themselves in a world that makes them feel like they have to hide. Providing that space continues to be the biggest honor of my career.
What’s a common misconception about your role in the wedding industry?
“It’s just photos.” Friends are always surprised when they hire me for their wedding and realize how much more I actually do—both leading up to and on the big day. You know how a phlebotomist chats with you to distract from the needle in your arm? Okay, maybe that’s a bit extreme, but I do the same for my couples.
I’m your right-hand person, guiding you, affirming your decisions, and making sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but I make damn sure my clients have a soft place to land—so they can actually enjoy their wedding day.
