Crystal Inspired
Crystals have incredible powers. For this styled edit, a creative team out of Florida wanted to share how different crystals can help couples, both during their wedding planning and beyond, as they open a new chapter together as married.
They aren’t just an impressive decor element but have underlying meaning dependent on which crystals they choose.

Although crystals are starting to rise in trends throughout the wedding industry, we wanted to focus on crystals that were outside the typical crystals blogs have been suggesting to clients. The photographer, Steph from Tiny House Photography, and I are LGBTQ+ owned businesses, so it was important for us to represent our community through our shoot.
Steph knew the couple personally, so we were thrilled when they decided to step in and model for us.
It was also extremely important for us to utilize LGBTQ+ owned and LGBTQ+ friendly vendors. We are located in Wilton Manors, which is the gayborhood of South Florida, and reached out to vendors in the local area to contribute to our project. We partnered with a create crystal store that provided all the crystals! Steph and I are also vegan, so it was essential for us to get a vegan cake to enjoy with everyone after the shoot!
One of my favorite partnerships is with Tie the Knot Org, who provided the bowtie for the shoot. They advocate for LGBTQ civil rights throughout the United States & beyond.
We also wanted to portray how in love this couple was, which we feel shined through in these photos!
