A Two Day Adventure Elopement in Ouray, Colorado

Their original plans to get married in the desert earlier in the year were thrown off when Maci’s military career forced a reschedule. And then, just ten days before their mountain elopement, they almost had to postpone again, thanks to more last-minute work commitments. Add in the fact that Maci couldn’t arrive until midnight the night before their sunrise ceremony and their beloved Corgi, Da Vinci, was facing health concerns… and yeah, the lead-up was a lot.⁠

But Andie and Maci fought hard to be standing face to face in the mountains of Ouray, Colorado, on a moody August morning, ready to share vows.⁠

Knowing Maci would soon be deployed for many months, they soaked up every second of their elopement adventure. Over two days, they explored all the best spots in Ouray, hiking to epic vantage points, tucking into a picnic while sheltering from a storm, climbing onto the roof of their Jeep for next-level photos, snuggling up in PJs while a private chef made dinner, dancing in the rain, and playing with their adorable pups.⁠
