A Cozy Moody Wedding at Brotherhood Winery

Cozy fall vibes, heartfelt moments, and all the personal touches that make a celebration unforgettable. Molly & Anna chose the stunning Brotherhood Winery as their venue, and honestly? It was the perfect backdrop for their dreamy, moody aesthetic. From handmade wedding details to emotional first looks, every part of their day felt so them.

Why Did You Choose Brotherhood Winery for Your Wedding?

Brotherhood Winery felt like the perfect spot because it’s absolutely stunning, especially during the time of year we got married. It combined indoor and outdoor spaces beautifully, with our ceremony held on the picturesque grounds and cocktail hour on the outdoor patio. The venue had exactly the moody, cozy fall vibe we envisioned—it was like stepping into the Great Hall from Harry Potter but with a wedding twist.

What Were the Highlights of Your Wedding Day?

Our “first look” was one of our favorite moments. We had kept our outfits a secret from each other, so the excitement was amazing. When we turned around to see one another, our parents and wedding parties had snuck out onto the porch to share the moment with us. It made it even more special.

During the ceremony, walking down the aisle was deeply meaningful. Molly walked to I Get To Love You by Ruelle, while Anna chose an instrumental version of Halo. We wrote our own vows and didn’t share them until the ceremony. They ended up being the perfect mix of humor and honesty. Having our close friend Griffin officiate made everything feel personal and unforgettable.

How Did You Personalize the Wedding Theme?

We wanted “Moody Judy,” a theme that felt warm and cozy but with a little edge. We didn’t just rely on the venue – we worked on a lot of DIY projects to make the space uniquely ours. We hand-made things like the seating chart, bar signage, and table numbers, using thrifted materials for a personal, charming touch.

Molly’s veil, which she found on Amazon, was a highlight of the ceremony. We also loved our “Till Death” neon sign, which now hangs above our bed as a special reminder of the day.

Tell Us About Your Outfits!

Molly found her dress at the Barefoot Bride in Red Bank, New Jersey. She went in with an open mind and instantly fell in love with the dress that her mom chose for her to try on. Her cathedral-length veil was the perfect touch and tied everything together beautifully.

Anna’s tuxedo was custom-made by The Tailory in NYC. She wanted a white jacket with a detailed, textured fabric. When the team showed her a sample of exactly what she imagined, she cried—it was perfect.

What Was the Planning Process Like?

We had the incredible support of Dhalia Events throughout the entire process. They anticipated our needs and made sure everything ran smoothly. We also couldn’t have done it without our photographer Tracy from Tracy Jade Photography, who captured every detail and moment beautifully. Danny, our DJ from Blanc Noir Event Group, set the perfect vibe with music that got everyone dancing, and the NYC Flower Project created floral arrangements that blew us away.

How Did You Celebrate After the Wedding?

For our mini-moon, we went to Boston right after the wedding. It was so refreshing to just relax and spend time together after a year of planning and the excitement of the big day. We explored the city, did all the touristy things, and kept looking at each other saying, “Can you believe we just had the best wedding ever?”
