Tell us the inspiration behind the shoot.
We were inspired by my Italian origin and the Dolce Vita way of life to imagine this editorial. Living at 100%, laughing, screaming, singing, crying, this is what we wanted to convey through this editorial that we shot in Saint Tropez, in a family villa.
Why was creating this shoot important to the team?
We also wanted to show how beautiful it is to have two stunning wedding dresses and show that a wedding between two women does not necessarily occur with a woman in a suit (one of the stereotypes in France, unfortunately).
The team for this shoot is composed of very caring people, and it was a genuine wish to show true love, without prejudice, with only positive vibes.

What are the key styling elements of the styled inspiration, and who brought them to life?
The starting elements that inspired us are the family villa in Saint Tropez, a real invitation to relaxation and pleasure. Then it is the heart-shaped sunglasses that have inspired us a lot. We really like this original Dolce Vita side that they bring to any outfit or situation. We were also very inspired by lemons! The citrus acidity brings that little extra and a refreshing side. In large part, thanks to the endless creativity of Alex, the photographer, we were able to combine all these elements to make this unique shoot.

Words by Charlotte & Julie
What is your favorite memory together?
Our best memory together was our first holidays in Italy. First, we discovered each other through long conversations, good wine, and delicious food. Then, step by step, we started to reveal our feelings. It was beautiful but at the same time a bit scary because it was a big jump into the unknown, where we knew that from now, our love story really came to life.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome together?
So far, we haven’t really encountered any obstacles or challenges to overcome. We are so lucky to be surrounded by caring people. Who have always accepted us as we are. But we think that it will be the conception of our first child that will not necessarily be easy.
What would you say if you could give your younger selves a pep talk for the future?
Julie- Don’t let go, assume yourself as you are, never be ashamed of your sexual orientation. If people reject us, they are not worth having a place in our life.
Charlotte- Always remain yourself, trust yourself, do not doubt because of others, take responsibility, and be proud to be the person you are.
Tell us your favorite thing about one another.
Charlotte- Her kindness, courage, ambition, creativity, and the way she loves me.
Julie- Her listening skills, patience, and not being embarrassed or feeling judged.
What does the future hold for you?
The future holds plenty of beautiful things for us, many trips, real estate purchases, and little slobbering babies with always a lot of love in a few years.
