An Industrial Disco Wedding In France

Deborah and Marion were models for this inspired lesbian wedding that brings to life disco pink colors, with a real industrial and street vibe in Le Récept’, France.

TELL US THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS STYLED WEDDING

The initial inspiration was the colors pink and black, with a street and industrial feel, as can be seen in some London weddings, for example. Here in France, the trend for color at weddings is slowly coming in, but we’d really like to see more of it, as it’s what brings the couple’s personality to their special day!

The idea of a short dress came up to suggest a dress that you could wear to the ceremony and then party in!

For the flowers, we really wanted flowers and only flowers, no (or almost no) leaves or greenery, just colors!

We wanted the result to be fun, dynamic, and lively, to see smiles in the photos, moments of real complicity, and some pictures with movement.

WHY WAS THIS SHOOT IMPORTANT TO THE TEAM?

The whole team was keen to show a wedding different from the traditional weddings at the beautiful châteaux and estates in our region, where you’ve been seeing the same bohemian decor for years.

Although it’s very beautiful, as a wedding planner, I want to be challenged. I want weddings that reflect the image of this shoot: fun, authentic, that represent the couple well, where we dare to create a decoration that we like, rather than asking ourselves what’s trendy at the moment.

We all wanted to show that a wedding without the traditional elements can also be a beautiful day that all the guests will remember for a long time, thanks to its originality and the good times spent together! Party first!
