An Intimate Elopement with Dogs in Colorado

What inspired you to elope in Frisco, Colorado?

We wanted a day that was just for us – a private, meaningful moment with our dogs. Frisco offered the perfect blend of mountains, water, and snow, creating a setting that felt like a dream come true.

Tell us about the outfits you chose for your big day.

Our wedding dresses from David’s Bridal made us feel beautiful and comfortable. The delicate lace details added a touch of romance, and they were perfect for the wintry setting.

How did the day begin, and what were the highlights?

We started the day with breakfast in downtown Frisco, followed by getting ready at our rental. Two local stylists worked on our hair and makeup while we enjoyed reminiscing about our journey together. Our photographer, Sean from Vows and Peaks, guided us to breathtaking locations, including a frozen lake and a snowy gulch, where we exchanged our vows.

What made your ceremony special?

Our ceremony was exactly what we dreamed of – private, intimate, and deeply personal. With our dogs by our side, we exchanged vows and rings in the gulch. The moment was surreal, and our pup, Pebbles, even “signed” our marriage license as a witness.

How did you celebrate after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, we explored the stunning scenery of Colorado, capturing photos in incredible locations. At the summit of a mountain pass, we toasted with champagne and shared a quiet moment of reflection. We ended the day with BBQ and a relaxing soak in the hot tub, savoring the magic of the day.
