WHAT’S A PIECE OF ADVICE YOU FIND YOURSELF GIVING TO ALL YOUR COUPLES?
Find some time before the end of the night to sneak away for a moment together, and find a spot where you can look back at the reception or party. These people, this energy is here as a result of your love and commitment together. Take a mental photograph, use this in the future for any tough times. (bonus, tell your photographer! They can still allow you the privacy and intimate moment while capturing from afar).
WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING THING ABOUT BEING A WEDDING PRO?
Being entrusted to creatviely document some of the most intimate moments in peoples lives, chatting with the elders at the wedding, helping couples feel comfortable with photos, and just having a bloody good time with everyone!
HOW DO YOU KEEP IT TOGETHER WHEN THINGS ARE GETTING EMOTIONAL ON THE DAY?
I’m into breathwork so I use simple techniques like slowing down my exhale, I also feel comfortable to just let it out, I often with wet eyes behind the lens, especially when multiple generations are present.
