Hi! We are Whistler Elopements! We provide all-inclusive adventure elopement packages for couples who are interested in creating something a little different for their wedding day.
We (Tara and Steve) photographed our first wedding in 2008 and have been full-time wedding photographers since 2010. We tied the knot ourselves in 2014, just before our 10-year dating anniversary. (We met at 14 and started dating at 17!)
After moving to Whistler, BC, in 2016, we were constantly exploring the mountains where we live and we kept having the thought, “This would be such a cool place to get married.” After having that same conversation enough times, we decided to put some actions in place and create Whistler Elopements. I (Steve) became a licensed wedding celebrant so that we can help our couples have amazing intimate elopements in some of the best locations that Whistler has to offer.
I (Tara) love the freedom that elopements allow for us to create experiences and imagery for our couples that are truly epic. From sunsets on top of mountains, helicopter tours, hiking elopements, or glamping experiences, we are escaping the boundaries created by traditional wedding days.
Whistler is an amazing place to elope. We have huge mountains, glaciers, and old-growth forests. We have raging rivers, and pristine clear-blue lakes. We have a world-class 5-star ski resort in our backyard. We have world-class restaurants, 5-star hotels, award-winning spas, and every amenity a person could want.
Our goal is to leverage all of the aspects of Whistler, from the beautiful natural setting, to the luxury accommodations to design a unique elopement that is suited exactly to your tastes and desires as well as the level of adventure that you choose.

Marriage licenses in BC can be bought at your local pharmacy, in about 15 minutes and are valid the minute you walk out the door. Combined with our all-inclusive elopement packages, we make your wedding planning stress-free, your elopement day relaxed, your experience and memories epic. We include planning, officiating, photography, videography, florals, picnics, and prosecco to ensure that your day is perfect.
