Hi! I'm Christie, owner, and photographer for Summit and Sur Photography. Based near Los Angeles, I consider myself local to SoCal but always down to travel to make some magic happen for my couples and families. I specialize in elopements and lifestyle sessions---you know, the kind of photography where you aren't looking at the camera but rather your favorite person (or people) in the world. My style is warm and romantic, with a dash of vintage film thrown in there for good measure. I find inspiration for my work in the outdoors, retro trends, and Taylor Swift (just laying my cards out there early on).

As someone who had a fairly traditional wedding myself but wanted something much smaller, I knew that when I became a photographer, I wanted to help couples advocate for themselves in having their own intimate weddings, allowing them to have the day of their dreams. I am a big believer that everyone should get the day they have always dreamed of, no matter how big or, in my case, how small. As an ordained photographer, I also feel so lucky to get to marry some of my couples myself--something that is pretty unique to small, intimate weddings and elopements.
