Anna & Jess – A TikTok Romance & A Chic Wedding At Falmouth

After meeting on TikTok, these two brides, Anna and Jess shared their vows in a chic outdoor ceremony in Falmouth, Cape Cod.

Tell Us A Little About Yourselves, What You Do For Work And Fun?

Jess is active duty military, and we are currently stationed at Fort Campbell, KY. Anna is the cooler of the two of us, and she is an actress. She just co-starred in a movie with Bruce Willis that was released in January; “American Siege.” She most recently just wrapped up filming a queer vampire movie titled “Crimson Shadows,” which will hopefully be out next year.

For fun, we love to be outdoors with our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a husky; they love swimming and hiking. Both of us also ride motorcycles.

How Long Have You Been Together, And How Did You Meet?

We have been together for 2.5 years now, and we actually met on TikTok. It was the start of the pandemic, and Anna commented on Jess’s video, saying “damn,” so they started messaging. Anna was living in Nashville, and Jess was stationed in South Carolina. After a few weeks, Anna drove to SC, and the rest is history.

Tell Us About The Proposal.

We actually started planning the wedding before the proposal because Jess gets limited time off with the military. However, Anna said they couldn’t get engaged until Jess met her best friends from LA. So, the week of the proposal, Jess surprised Anna with her best friends, who got to be there for the proposal in Charleston, SC.

Talk To Us About Your Experience Finding The Perfect Outfits.

Finding a suit that fits a woman’s body is always a challenge. Jess found Tom James Clothing and drove two hours for her suit to be tailored. They custom-designed it and put our names and wedding date on the inside of the jacket, which was the perfect touch. Jess felt so confident in the suit tailored perfectly for her.

Because of the pandemic and living away from family, Anna had to go dress shopping alone, but she FaceTimed her mom and Jess’s mom to make sure they loved her dress as much as she did.

Talk To Us About The Wedding Day.

I honestly don’t even know where to start for this one. For starters, it was such a perfect day. We spent the day getting readily separately with our friends and family. There was no rush to the day, and everyone was happy. The rain cleared up just before we did our first look. The ceremony is a blur. Jess cried a lot (she likes to act tough but is a big softy). The reception went by so quickly. The best way to describe it is a big part with all of our favorite people.

What Are Your Favorite Moments?

Two moments stand out to us. The first is after the ceremony and a million family photos, and our wedding photographer had us take fifteen minutes to ourselves just to take in being a married couple and have a few minutes alone before the craziness of the night began. We still talk about how peaceful that is.

The second is at the end of the night. We had our families surrounding us, belting out “Closing Time” with no cares in the world. Everyone was drunk and so excited for us. We had spent years in the closet, and to have our families there and to be so supportive was a dream come true.
