Randi and Delaney, a foodie couple who are always up for an adventure and are madly in love, tied the knot in their hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin at Gather on Broadway.
The couple had a unique and romantic proposal story, as Ran proposed in the pouring rain on the Hudson River in NYC, and Delaney proposed on a family trip to Door County. They had a year and a half-engagement.
Their wedding had a simple boho theme. The couple did a lot of DIY projects for the big day, from wedding favors, table names, place cards, signage, programs, wedding party gifts, and more. They both knew exactly what they wanted for their outfits, so it was smooth sailing.
The big day was everything they could’ve imagined and more. Their favorite moments were Ran’s surprise performance and their first look. They had an amazing experience with their photographer, Alyssa Lentz, A. Lentz Photography.
Marriage means the most radical act of queer love to them; taking up space in a heteronormative tradition. They advise other couples planning a wedding to give themselves time and go easy on themselves.
