Soft whispers and tender moments define this intimate encounter between two women in a snowy cityscape.

A Boston City Photoshoot in the Snow

Cayla and Leah want to be role models for other LGBTQ+ people who might be struggling with their sexuality, or with fitting into their communities. They celebrated their love in a city photoshoot around Boston during a snowy day.

Falling in love

Leah and Cayla’s love story began with a friend’s recommendation to follow other lesbians on Instagram, and that’s how Leah came across Cayla. Their first date was on April Fools Day, and despite their initial differences, they both knew that they had to see each other again.

It wasn’t long before they knew that they were meant to be. One of their favorite memories together is going to their first concert together and feeling the power of being surrounded by the LGBTQ+ community. It was a night that stood still for both of them.

Challenges in the relationship

However, like any relationship, Leah and Cayla faced their own set of challenges. Being young entrepreneurs with their own businesses meant that they had to navigate the pressure of owning a business while making time for each other. It hasn’t been anything that they haven’t been able to work through, in fact, it’s something that’s made them stronger.

Favorite things about one another

When asked about their favorite thing about each other, Leah gushed about how Cayla is unapologetically herself. She admires how Cayla is caring, loving, and selfless and how she has always been true to herself.

Cayla, on the other hand, praised Leah’s radiant energy. She loves how Leah walks into a room and commands attention with her smile and contagious laugh.

Being LGBTQ+ Role Models

Leah and Cayla apart have a desire to be role models for the LGBTQ+ community. Leah, who is in the fitness space, wants to help normalize being part of the community and make people feel more accepted in this space. Cayla, who was outed in high school, wants to be an advocate for those struggling with their sexuality or the coming out process. They both believe that the LGBTQ+ community is a family, and they want to be a part of that family.

Their love story shows that being true to yourself and finding love is possible, and that is a message that everyone can relate to.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter where you come from, who you are, or what challenges you face. Love will always find a way to shine through, and that is something to be celebrated.
